Self care Friday! ⁣

I’m making it a thing. ⁣

Lyme has taught me many things but slowing down has been the hardest to grasp. ⁣

The old me used to be up by 4:30 am to run then do a class at the gym. Followed by working 10-12 hours in my classroom. ⁣

Now I am excited for the days that I don’t need 10-13 hours of sleep! #movingupintheworld⁣

I had to come to the conclusion that I can’t do everything that I used to & learned to be ok with that. ⁣

I have chosen to step away from teaching for a year to focus on fully healing. ⁣

Could I have pushed through like so many years past- yes. ⁣

I got to the point of not living or being able to enjoy life for so many years that I needed to slow down. I wanted to have more good days so I can simply-LIVE! ⁣

Now I work part time at a clinic that aligns perfectly with my passion for holistic health. ⁣

I know others may not understand this decision but it isn’t for others. It is for me. Those people that truly matter have been so supportive and without judgement. ⁣

So moral of the story- just do YOU so you can live & enjoy life!
